YouTube gamers are an extremely familiar sight on my television during the weekend, oh the joys of being a mother of mainly boys! This morning I caught up on Friday’s episode of Eastenders (what the heck is up with Stuart!) and watched two…

Poundworld and Poundstretcher Haul September 2017 | Shamsa

In this post, I share a lovely haul from Poundworld and Poundstretcher for September 2017. From Poundworld Phone screen magnifier I came across this phone screen magnifier and I thought it looked useful. I regularly watch YouTube videos on my phone while cooking, and I would benefit from a larger screen. I am sceptical that it will be any good, but thought it was worth a try. Emoji mugs Next I picked up these ‘official’ emoji mugs, which look really…

Trying Sweets From My Childhood

Trying Sweets From My Childhood

In this post I share some of my favourite sweets from my childhood. I grew up in the 90’s and enjoyed some delicious sweets (or candy) in my childhood. The highlight of my day was popping to the corner shop to get a bag of my favourite sweets in a white paper bag. Not much has changed – I now get the same kick from going to Asda. Chocolate Nibbles Chocolate nibbles were one of my all time favourite snacks…

In this post, I share my monthly favourites for August 2017. Here are some of the things I have been loving in the month of August: Beautifully Scrumptious Body Butter from Poundland I purchased this body butter from Poundland ages ago, and it’s been sat on my shelf, unused and unloved. Our Trip to Formby Beach

Our Trip to Formby Beach

We visited Formby beach in Merseyside yesterday. The weather was perfect and we had a lovely day; well worth a visit. Formby beach is owned by the National Trust, and there’s a wonderful woodland area to spot some squirrels but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to visit the woodland. We paid £6 to park the car, and it was a 2 minute walk to the beach My kids loved running up and down the sandy dunes The sand was…
